how about we run through a few favorite things? my favorite colors are soup yellow and wine red. my favorite food's a good busy omelette. i like dr peeper. my favorite animals are deer, blackbirds, macaques and tamarins. i don't like movies or shows much, unless they're really good, or really bad.

my favorite books are basically anything by kurt vonnegut, tainaron by leena krohn and on the beach by nevil shute. my favorite play is marisol by josé rivera. my favorite poem is dart by alice oswald. i mostly hang around magical realism and postmodernism, naturally. in terms of music, my major dealings are prog rock, prog metal, prog pop, jazz, funk, and anything else with a damn good bassline. if i had to pin down my top 3 favorite bands, it'd probably be the mars volta, everything everything and king crimson.

i like video games where numbers go up, such as balatro, darkest dungeon, and other roguelikes. i occasionally get into deep narrative stuff like disco elysium and the pale beyond. otherwise, i've been into fighting games (especially guilty gear) for years but have only recently started playing them myself. hit me up on skullgirls and them's fightin' herds if you want to kick my ass.

some of my casual interests include alchemy and hermeticism, linguistics and etymology, literature in general, music history, leather and latex subcultures (i'm a leatherman ^_^) and contemporary poetry and plays.
