justsketchme — posable mannequin. has some alternate paid options for different body types.
adorkastock sketch — figure drawing website with a timer.
line of action — another figure drawing site.
roomstyler — indoor environment builder with lots of furniture options.
lostandtaken — gallery of various free-to-use textures.
textures on neocities — another textures site. these are mostly tiled ones.
artcyclopedia — online gallery of artwork.
x6ud (animals) — database of various animal images with a robust, customisable search tool revolving around head posing.
x6ud (humans) — same thing for humans, which can sort limb-by-limb.
referenceangle — yet another anthropological one, limited to just the face although capable of sorting images by emotion, age and other minutiae.
disco elysium dev forums — what it says on the tin. got lots of early art and design work.
retrohound — flickr profile with a collection of old, scanned newspaper pages.

jummbox — simple site for making music. a more complex version of beepbox with some more robust settings.
dashnet — host of cookie clicker and a handful of other 'web experiments'. murder games is exceptionally fun.
neal.fun — similar to the above. you’ve probably seen infinite craft and the password game around.
boatloadpuzzles — daily crosswords.
atlas obscura — travel around the world and find odd monuments and constructions.
mapcrunch — random street view generator.
meow.camera — take a look at cats eating treats. derivative of the "hello street cat" app.
jspaint — javascript copy of old school mspaint.

the unknown — experimental hypertext "novel".
sphinx or robot — novel about pyramids and seeing time.
tainaron — novel about a strange city inhabited by bugs.

wikiquote's page on taliesin — various taliesin poems.
wikiquote's page on the spiritual canticle — odd religious poem written by an imprisoned friar.
uncleftish beholding — piece of text revolving around a hypothetical form of english void of latin/greek terms, instead focusing on its germanic roots.
codex seraphinianus — surrealist encylopaedia-esque manuscript written in a fake language. full of speculative biology, speculative architecture, uh, a lot of imagined nonsense. it rules.
all tomorrows — speaking of speculative fiction... classic work of the genre.

mydora — randomised "radio" composed out of decrepit myspace files. sortable by genre.
radiooooo — similar randomised radio, sortable by country and decade.
progquebec — old as fuck site listing various prog bands from quebec. pages are available in both french and english.
the marble shrine — archive of the mars volta bootlegs, offering setlists and mp3 downloads for most of their shows. tms also has a browsable youtube channel.
hakenarchive — site cataloguing all kinds of haken information, from lyrics to lore to misc trivia about the band.
elephant talk — king crimson wiki.
nin wiki — wiki hosting information about everything nine inch nails related. shoutout to this site for making me fall in love with the font inconsolata they use that for listing all the lyrics.
kglw.net — extremely extensive site beholding king gizzard & the lizard wizard notation, from album lore to live show dates to notable variations of songs.
get into gizz — a guide to delving into the king gizzard discography, specifically oriented toward new fans.
at the border — site revolving around everything everything. currently can only find web archives of its pages, it went down in early 2023 and hasn’t come back since unfortunately.
"a present" — google drive link to a bunch of ee song rips.
rock pop and progressive midi files — french site with a lot of niche band midis. i love perusing this one.
midi search — if you haven't had enough.
chulip ost on internet archive — probably my favorite video game soundtrack ever.
omni — play around with musical scales.
